The national Park of Mount Cucco and the town of Sigillo are known as one of the best and most loved places for free flight in the world. In fact every year hundreds of dedicated hang gliders from all over the world converge here and colour the skies with their multi coloured sails.
Thanks to its particular positioning in respect to the winds and thermal currents, Mount Cucco is the ideal destination for gliders and hang gliders. The weather conditions and the layout of the land are extremely favourable to free flying, permitting extraordinary performances by pilots practising this sport.
